The news is always filled with threats and we have experienced a fair number of them: shortages, outages, viruses, shortages, storms, not to mention day to day problems that threaten our well being at home with our family.
While there are many concerns that could cause us to fear what is to come, it is in this time that we must declare God as our place of safety.
There is a reason why God decided to position us in Christ. Jesus knows every battle you face because He faces it with You. You are seated with Christ. He sees and knows your concerns and is ready to share his yoke with you. When you yoke up with Him, He carries the load and guides you.

Lord, I pray for supernatural strength to come over the hearts and minds of men, women, and children all over the world, especially those who are living in constant fear of what is to come— those who have threats right on their back door and have lost much sleep over it.
I pray a supernatural protection over their hearts and minds. Father, I pray that You would be with them in the storm, that You would hold their hands and walk with them. You never leave them or forsake them.
Lord, we look to you, Jesus. We declare You as our righteous shepherd, the One who loves us more than anyone else. We accept Your love, Jesus. We receive You as our king. You are the One who leads and guides us with garments of salvation. You cover us with robes of righteousness, for we have none ourselves.
Forgive us for turning to other gods and idols that promised peace, but were empty. Forgive us for looking to everything but You for our salvation. We seek You now. We humble ourselves before you God. We turn away from evil and sin, which tries to trap us, and we turn to you, God, for safety and peace.
God, be our shield against all danger and harm. We choose You as our rock and fortress. We trust in You to care for our family, to hide us in Your shelter, and to give us refuge under Your wings.
We will trust you, Lord to keep us safe. We will not live in fear of what goes on around us.
We will trust in Your care for us. You are our God and we will trust in You.
In Jesus’ name, we command fear to leave us. We rebuke you in Jesus’ name and resist you. We submit ourselves to God. We belong to You, God. We are loved by You, and we are safe in Your arms.
We choose to live in the shelter of the most high God, and no harm will come to us.
Our hearts are strong and courageous. We will live with joy because our hearts trust in You and we are helped. In Jesus’ name, amen.
